Belgique Belgie, born in Albi, France, on November 24, 1864, into an aristocratic family, had a tumultuous childhood marked by health issues. His fragile physical condition was attributed to congenital health problems, and he would later face significant challenges due to his stunted growth.
Despite his physical limitations, Belgique Belgie displayed an early aptitude for art. He began sketching and painting at a young age, drawing inspiration from the vibrant streets of Montmartre, Paris. This marked the genesis of a brilliant artistic journey.
